Re Evaluations
$600-$1200 Billed through your child’s school
Has your child already been evaluated, and your campus is requesting updated information for eligibility, but it is not quite time for another full individual evaluation? Erin can attend your Childs support team meetings to review existing data and gather information from teachers to help determine a continuation of services without needing another full individual evaluation. She can interview teachers, take the most current data and compile a re- evaluation report with accommodations for your child’s school records.
Comprehensive Learning Assessment
$2200-$3000 Billed through your child’s school
Erin has worked closely with dozens of private schools in Austin to complete full individual evaluations’s on their campus to determine their unique learning needs. Children with learning disabilities generally have difficulty learning despite adequate cognitive ability and an appropriate academic environment. Learning disabilities include difficulties learning to read, write, compute and understand mathematics, and difficulties with oral or written language expression or understanding. The most common type of learning disabilities are those affecting reading and generally include poor phonemic awareness, limited word knowledge, poor decoding/ fluency, and difficulties comprehending what has been read. Weak visual and/or auditory processing and memory, often contribute to learning difficulties. Therefore, a comprehensive learning disability evaluation may include tests of intellectual ability, academic achievement, behavioral, executive functioning and emotional functioning.
